Oliver Nias is a BIFA-nominated filmmaker from London. He is known for smart, concept-driven mystery films and as the founder of Obstacle.

Oliver is the writer-director of mystery thriller The Return. The 35mm-shot feature film was nominated for The Discovery Award at the British Independent Film Awards, Best UK Feature at Raindance Film Festival and winner of Best Screenplay at the Top Indie Film Awards. He directed thriller The Speechwriter and produced dark comedy Round Robin, short films that were Official Selection for Raindance and Aesthetica Short Film Festival respectively. He is managed by Adam Kolbrenner's Lit Entertainment Group for Film & TV.
